About Evan Byron Cleveland Lawyer

Evan Thomas Byron was born on May 25, 1980, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and spent his childhood in Carmel, Indiana. From a young age, Evan developed a strong academic foundation, which laid the groundwork for his successful legal career. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Spanish in 2002. While at university, Evan’s academic dedication was recognized by his inclusion in The National Dean’s List, further affirming his commitment to excellence.

After completing his undergraduate degree, Evan continued his educational journey at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. At Case Western, he earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2006. During law school, Evan was an active member of the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team, which allowed him to refine his trial skills. His leadership qualities were evident as Vice President of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity. Evan’s academic achievements were recognized through his inclusion on the Dean’s List, further highlighting his dedication to his education and the legal profession.

Upon graduating from law school, Evan Byron began his legal career in Cleveland, Ohio. His first position was with Kaufman, Drozdowski & Grendell, LLC, where he gained hands-on experience in litigation and transactional law. Evan quickly made a name for himself within the firm by handling various legal matters, including business disputes, employment law, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, probate, and personal injury claims. His diverse expertise and exceptional work ethic led to his promotion to partner in 2017, reflecting his growing stature in the legal community.

Before joining Kaufman, Drozdowski & Grendell, Evan worked as Of Counsel for Lieberman, Dvorin & Dowd, LLC. This position provided Evan with valuable experience in business and commercial litigation, focusing on trial work, creditors’ rights, receiverships, and banking-related matters. His time at Lieberman, Dvorin & Dowd allowed him to expand his skill set and gain further insight into the complexities of commercial law.
